The Reservoir DollsIn the Begining*Crash*The hammer was hurled with such velocity that it left a dent in the metallic walls of the Femme Fatales base. Harvest Moon glared at her latest foe – the Crey Mission Computer 2000 – with disgust she normally reserved for the most deplorable of arch-villain. She swore that if she didn’t know better, the Countess was supplying the heroes of Paragon City faulty goods to keep their respective bases from being completed; the damn machine simply wouldn’t connect with any of the existing systems. She glanced down at the various pieces of salvage she had managed to acquire from her recent adventures – maybe one of those could help. Casting aside the pile of scrolls gained from the Council of Thorns and some….thing picked up from the latest attempt to remove the Hamidon, she pulled out a Rickti power converter. Glancing at the cabling around the Crey Computer, there was the possibility it could be jury-rigged to serve as a conduit between the systems of the base and the computer. Several hours (and an extra hole in the wall) later, Harvest had finished; she took in a deep breath and flicked the ‘on’ switch. To her delight, the monitor on the computer flickered into action; browsing the various menus, she opted to view Atlas Park and was relieved to see the statue of the great man standing tall in front of city hall. A blur of action happened outside the park and she manoeuvred the cameral to see what was happening; some Hellions had stolen a woman’s purse and were on the run! Harvest waited for the heroes to come and aid this damsel in distress. And waited. And waited. Finally, an out-of-shape lump in spandex hauled himself after villains, only to get ten more yards before collapsing with exhaustion. Harvest was confused – where were the great heroes that stood in defiance of these kind of things? Where were the heroes of Sanity Inc, or the Plastics? Where were the Femmes? And who were these chumps? She checked the various readings on the computer and was shocked by the results - the Rickti power conduit was allowing to computer to view not to the Atlas Park she knew and loved, but another dimension! A dimension where the heroes were evidently not the awesome force they were in her world, but a disorganised useless rabble. Something had to be done. Examining the back of the tele-pad, she thought she could connect that up using the Rickti device to allow transport to this strange sub-dimension. The question was - who would go? It would probably be a one way trip with no hope of coming back, and the defence of the City was already stretching the resources of the group. There was, however, that group of new heroes who were itching to prove themselves – perhaps they would be interested?
